Redragon GS515 Neo RGB Wireless Desktop Soundbar with Bluetooth, RGB Lighting & Stereo Audio

Compact Stereo Audio for Gaming and Everyday Use

The GS515 uses two 50 mm full-range drivers inside a single soundbar enclosure. Redragon rates them at 5 W × 2 RMS, with a stated maximum total output of 10 W.

This configuration is designed for near-field desktop listening, including gaming, films, online content and music. Its single-bar format also keeps the space beside your monitor available for other peripherals.

The GS515 does not include a separate subwoofer and should not be confused with a 2.1 speaker system or surround-sound setup.

Bluetooth 5.3 and USB Wired Audio

Bluetooth Mode

Bluetooth 5.3 lets you stream audio from compatible laptops, smartphones and tablets. Redragon publishes a wireless range of up to 10 metres, although walls, interference and device placement can reduce the practical distance.

The speaker appears as GS515 during Bluetooth pairing. Holding the mode button for three seconds in Bluetooth mode disconnects the current device and returns the soundbar to pairing mode.

USB PC Mode

For wired use, connect the supplied cable to a compatible PC and select PC mode. Redragon states that the computer should recognise and configure the soundbar automatically, providing USB audio without a separate 3.5 mm cable.

Important: Bluetooth makes the audio connection wireless, but the GS515 still requires USB power. It is not a battery-powered portable speaker. If an AC adaptor is used for Bluetooth operation, Redragon specifies a maximum of 5 V / 1 A; an adaptor is not listed among the included items.

Six Hardware-Controlled RGB Effects

The NEO GS515 adds ambient lighting without requiring companion software. Redragon advertises six preset effects:

• Flowing
• Orange
• Music Sync
• Green
• Gradient
• Ice Blue

Press the centre dial to cycle through the lighting effects. No software-based RGB control or motherboard lighting synchronisation is documented.

Convenient On-Speaker Controls

The controls are positioned directly on the soundbar:

• Rotate the centre dial to adjust volume
• Press the dial to change the RGB effect
• Hold the dial for three seconds to switch the soundbar on or off
• Use the M button to switch between Bluetooth and USB PC modes
• Dedicated controls cover previous track, next track and play/pause

This layout keeps common audio and lighting adjustments within reach during gaming, work or media playback.

Why Choose This Over Standard Desktop Speakers?

Buying consideration	Redragon NEO GS515	Separate 2.0 speakers
Desk placement	One under-monitor soundbar	Requires space on both sides
Connectivity	Bluetooth 5.3 and USB audio	Varies; many use 3.5 mm audio
Lighting	Six integrated RGB effects	Often absent or model-dependent
Controls	Volume, source, tracks and RGB on the unit	Controls vary by model
Stereo separation	Fixed by the soundbar’s driver spacing	Speakers can be positioned farther apart
Power	USB power required in every mode	Depends on the speaker system

Choose the GS515 if you prioritise a tidy desk, Bluetooth convenience, RGB lighting and simple USB PC audio. Separate speakers may be preferable when wider stereo separation is the priority, while a 2.1 system is more appropriate if you specifically want a dedicated subwoofer.

Press the centre dial to cycle through the six advertised RGB effects. The lighting is controlled directly from the soundbar; Redragon does not document companion software for this model.

Does the Redragon GS515 have a microphone?
